hi, im samantha
I make ottomans by hand in a small Ontario studio — every piece, frame to finish, by me. I taught myself carpentry first, when we bought our first home and I wanted to be the one shaping it. Years later, upholstery — because I wanted the same control over the furniture going into it. The pieces I'd been picturing didn't exist anywhere I could find them, so I figured out how to make them myself. A considered, curated home is the kind of home I love living in. That's the work I want to make for other people.
