Hanging your headboard

We have created a guide to help walk you through hanging your headboard. This process is simpler and quicker than most think. It only requires two people. Our headboards include a kit with all of the needed hardware.

What you'll need

  • The cleat kit that comes with your headboard: the wall cleat and its screws. The partner cleat is already fixed to the back of your headboard.
  • A stud finder, a level and a drill.
  • Two people to lift the headboard.

Step one: mount the wall cleat into the wall studs, level, with its lip at the top

Step two: the partner cleat is fixed across the back of the headboard, hook pointing down

Step three: with two people, lift the headboard above the wall cleat and lower it so the cleats hook together

Step four: hung flush, level and secure; the bed slides back against it
